Essential Information

May to September offers excellent game viewing as the dry winter vegetation makes wildlife easier to spot. The Cape region enjoys lovely weather from October to March, perfect for beaches and wine tours. We'll help you plan your visit according to your interests - whether it's whale watching (July-November) or witnessing the spectacular wildflower bloom (August-September).

Neutral-colored clothing (avoid bright colors), comfortable walking shoes, sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), and warm layers for early morning game drives. We recommend bringing a good camera and binoculars. Your lodges provide necessary toiletries, but pack any personal medications. Don't forget your adapter - South Africa uses Type M sockets.

Our experienced rangers ensure both exciting and safe wildlife encounters. Game drives are conducted in specialized safari vehicles that allow close-up viewing while maintaining safe distances. Sometimes animals pass very close to the vehicles - it's their territory, after all! Our guides are experts at reading animal behavior and ensuring everyone's safety.

We've selected luxury lodges that blend African authenticity with modern comforts. Expect excellent cuisine combining local and international flavors, with chefs happy to accommodate dietary requirements. Safari lodges offer full board with morning coffee, brunch after game drives, high tea, and memorable dinners under the stars.

Absolutely! South Africa offers incredible experiences for all ages. Many lodges have special programs for children, teaching them about wildlife and conservation. The malaria-free game reserves are perfect for families, and cities like Cape Town have plenty of child-friendly attractions. We can customize your itinerary to suit your family's needs and interests.
