The best time to visit Manali is from March to June for pleasant weather and outdoor activities. October to February is perfect for snow activities and winter sports. July to September experiences monsoon, though the landscape becomes lush green. Manali offers numerous adventure activities including paragliding, skiing (winter), river rafting, zorbing, mountain biking, and trekking. The availability of activities depends on the season. Solang Valley is the hub for most adventure sports. All activities are conducted under professional supervision with safety equipment provided.

Pack warm clothes including thermals, sweaters, and jackets regardless of season. Comfortable walking shoes are essential. Bring sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, caps) and basic medications. For winter visits (October-February), pack heavy woolens, gloves, and snow boots. Don't forget your camera and power bank to capture the beautiful landscapes.

The nearest airport is Bhuntar Airport (Kullu) about 50km away. Delhi is the major transit point, from where you can take overnight buses or hire a taxi to Manali (12-14 hours journey).
