Frequently Asked & Question
The best time to visit the Andaman Islands is from October to May when the weather is perfect for beach activities and water sports. The skies are clear, and the sea is calm, making it ideal for snorkeling and diving. Avoid the monsoon season (June to September) as heavy rains can disrupt ferry services and underwater visibility is poor.
There are plenty of activities for non-swimmers in Andaman. You can enjoy glass-bottom boat rides to see coral reefs and marine life, try sea walking with professional guidance, visit the Cellular Jail and museums, enjoy beach walks and sunsets, take island tours, and explore local markets. Many water sports operators also provide life jackets and basic training for beginners.
Inter-island travel is primarily by government and private ferries. We arrange all ferry transfers as part of the package. The main routes are Port Blair to Havelock (2 hours) and Havelock to Neil Island (1 hour). Private speedboats are also available for some routes. Ferry schedules depend on weather conditions, and advance booking is recommended during peak season.
Pack light, comfortable cotton clothing, swimwear, water shoes or flip-flops, and sun protection (high SPF sunscreen, hat, sunglasses). Bring waterproof bags for electronics, basic first-aid supplies, and any required medications. For water activities, consider bringing your own snorkeling gear, though equipment is available for rent. Don't forget insect repellent and a good camera for underwater photography.
Yes, scuba diving is safe for beginners when done with certified instructors. We work with PADI-certified diving centers that provide thorough training and safety briefings. Beginners start with a trial dive in shallow waters. Basic swimming ability is recommended. Medical conditions should be disclosed before diving, and all safety protocols are strictly followed. Our packages include options for both certified divers and first-timers.
